We heard the heroic efforts of the medical teams on the field, overcoming the crowd and obstacles, including the arm of the law, to get to the injured. Well done to them and all those involved. We hope that there will not be a repeat of this.

Being a Bruneian abroad, I was quite shocked to hear about this. I did not think something like this could ever happen in Brunei. Condolences to the victims’families and friends. I read about it on Brunei Doctors’ website and was searching for the story in our local newspapers online. To my surprise, something that big had not been reported!
